SILVERDALE — A banner honoring Sean Brazas, a Naval Base Kitsap sailor killed in action in Afghanistan in May, and his widow was unveiled in Silverdale on Friday. The gold star on the banner is in honor of 2nd Class Petty Officer Sean Brazas, military dog handler who was killed while serving as an individual augmentee near Kandahar. The blue star honors Allie Brazas, a second-class petty officer who is also stationed at Naval Base-Kitsap.

The banner is at the intersection of Randall Way and Kitsap Mall Boulevard.
