February Navy League Cruise to Hawaii

A two week Cruise to Hawaii on  SS Grand Princess, leaving from Los Angeles on Feb 17 and gets back on Mar 4.
Grand PrincessThe ship arrives in port  Honolulu at 7 AM Feb 23. The shore excursion is from 7:30 to 3 PM, so that should allow us time to have our Navy League official tour and enough time left over for other Honolulu activities well before casting off for the next island at 11 PM. We can get a “shore excursion” to the Arizona Memorial at the base, where the base people will then pick us up in a 15 passenger van for a “base tour”.  I’ve been talking to the folks at Pearl Harbor about having a base tour, a briefing by their base historian, and perhaps a ship tour.  If the USS Bremerton is in port, we hope to be able to award 4 of their sailors plaques from our Navy League Council.
It is a great way to see each of the 4 major island, watch some whales, see some lava flowing, and have a fantastic shipboard experience.
Booking Information
You can go to the Princess cruise web site  , select “Plan a Cruise”, then “Search Cruises”
Ours is found if you select “Hawaii”, 9-15 days, and leaving Los Angeles.
There are on board credits given per cabin for prior military service ($250)  and another $250 for owning 100 shares of their stock (Carnival Corp) .
Besides these, if we can get 8 cabins sold, I get my fare for free, but I would divide the value of it up amongst all of us & give that back to you in cash before we leave.  That should be another $300 or 400 per cabin.  This makes it about as cheap as we are likely to get it.  If we don’t make it to 8 cabins for our group, of course I wouldn’t be able to give out any cash, so try to get folks signed up!!!
The reservation agent is listed below.  She will send you the forms for the Military service & stock ownership credits.  When you book, will you please let me know, too.
