The success of our event significantly depends on donations received from local businesses and from individual donors. The Silver & Gold Charity Auction is seeking donations of auction items such as merchandise, services, or gift certificates. All businesses and individual donors contributing items will be listed in the Auction program. In addition, donations with a retail value over $200 will receive extra recognition in our event program. This is a great opportunity to advertise your business while helping to support a great cause. Previously, this charity event has drawn over 400 naval officers, chiefs and community members. We publicize our event not only locally, but also through military media, publications and social media. Due to generous donations from local businesses and community members like you, last year our organization was able to donate over $32,000!
The Submarine Officers’ Spouses’ Charitable Association is a public charity exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our tax ID number is 27-0519790. Our Washington State Charitable Organizations Registration Number is 29379.
You will find a Contribution Form here: Dolphin Scholarship Information 2016 with details on various options for your donations.
To ensure adequate time to catalog and advertise your donation, we would appreciate receiving your item(s) as soon as you can, but no later than Friday, February 26th, 2016. We ask that you please fill out the enclosed donation form in its entirety for each donation including its estimated value. We are happy to pick up donations, when possible, or you can mail completed forms and donations to:
